Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I register after classes have started?
No problem! If space is available, you’ll pay a prorated rate based on when you join — so you only pay for the remaining classes.
Can I drop into class?
Yes! As long as the class isn’t full, you’re welcome to drop in. We recommend registering ahead of time to save your spot.
Do you offer a free trial class?
At many of our locations, we’re happy to offer a free trial for families new to Songs for Seeds. Availability varies by location, so please check with your local program for details.
Can siblings join?
Yes! We love welcoming siblings. Registered siblings receive a 20% discount, and siblings under 9 months are welcome to join for free. The more music-makers, the merrier!
Can I send my nanny or another caregiver?
Absolutely! Any caregiver is welcome to attend with your child — parents, grandparents, nannies, or another loved one.
What if we miss a class? Can we make it up?
Yes! You may schedule up to two make-up classes per semester (valid for up to three months), so the music can continue when it works best for your family.
What should we bring to class?
Just yourselves! We provide instruments and materials — comfortable clothing for movement is recommended.
What if my child is shy or hesitant?
That’s completely normal. Our musicians create a warm, pressure-free environment where children can observe, participate at their own pace, and join in when they feel ready.
Are classes appropriate for all ages?
Yes! Our mixed-age classes are designed for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to participate together, with musicians naturally adapting activities to the children in the room.
What is required to set up a private pod?
Private pods are scheduled based on musician availability. You’ll need a host location and at least six participants — we’ll help coordinate the rest!
